The Lover’s Knot Mirror features a natural-colored straw oval against a background of black straw arranged in various radial patterns. At the base, the oval forms a Herculean knot, symbolizing eternity and everlasting love. The straw’s natural sheen emphasizes the contrasting tones and multidirectional patterns, while the oval and intertwined knot juxtapose against the mirror’s rectangular form.

This piece is crafted from natural straw material it will show natural variation in color, straw pattern, and texture. Subtle shade differences are part of the material’s character, not defects. No two pieces are exactly alike, so yours may differ slightly from the photos shown.
Unfinished Straw Marquetry. The silica content of the straw material is naturally water resistant and intentionally left unfinished to allow for the inherent texture of the marquetry craft to come through.
