The Palm Daybed pairs intricately hand-laid straw marquetry with a lacquered wood base and an upholstered velvet cushion. Radiating palm motifs in golden and deep brown tones decorate the end panels, while the straw’s natural sheen and multidirectional patterns bring depth to the surface. Its low wood frame and generous cushion give the daybed an elegant, balanced form.

This piece is crafted from natural straw material it will show natural variation in color, straw pattern, and texture. Subtle shade differences are part of the material’s character, not defects. No two pieces are exactly alike, so yours may differ slightly from the photos shown.
Unfinished Straw Marquetry. The silica content of the straw material is naturally water resistant and intentionally left unfinished to allow for the inherent texture of the marquetry craft to come through.

Customer's Own Material (COM) can be used to upholster the Palm Daybed. 4.5 yards of fabric needed.
