The Chainlink Standing Mirror pairs a luminous straw marquetry frame with a sculptural, gloss lacquered wood base. Black chain-link details run along the sides, while stylized palms fan inward from each corner. The golden straw catches the light in shifting directions, bringing depth and movement to the graphic composition. On the reverse, a traditional radial straw marquetry pattern is framed by black velvet, allowing the mirror to be enjoyed as a decorative object from every angle. A stepped freestanding base anchors the elongated silhouette, balancing delicate surface work with a strong architectural form.

This piece is crafted from natural straw material it will show natural variation in color, straw pattern, and texture. Subtle shade differences are part of the material’s character, not defects. No two pieces are exactly alike, so yours may differ slightly from the photos shown.
Unfinished Straw Marquetry. The silica content of the straw material is naturally water resistant and intentionally left unfinished to allow for the inherent texture of the marquetry craft to come through.
