The Mirror features a sapele frame with a hand-painted border of golden sun rays set against a navy blue band. Drawing on European Art Deco printed matter, the repeating motif follows the rectangular frame, its gently wavering lines extending outward toward the edges. The warm reddish tones and visible grain of the sapele complement the graphic contrast of the painted decoration.
