Board Chair
Sunfish’s first chair design and one of its signature pieces, the Board Chair combines broad wooden boards with a tapered and angled back rest. Exposed through-tenon joinery makes its construction a defining feature, with visible tenon ends adding contrasting circular details to the legs. The substantial wooden planes and narrow gap between the back panels give the chair a distinct sculptural presence. Available with either a solid wood back or a fully upholstered back, both versions retain the chair’s characteristic geometry and visible joinery.
