For New York Design Week 2025, Assembly Line unveils Every Shadow is a Color—a transformative installation and full reimagining of our Atlantic Avenue retail space.

The heart of the show is led by New York-based studio Juntos Projects, with work from Blue Green Works, Elitis, Rye, Atelier de Troupe, Kiki Goti and Hannah Bigeleisen.  The exhibition takes its name from a line in Josef Albers’ seminal Interaction of Color, a nod to the ever-shifting, subjective experience of color. Here, color drifts with shadow, settles on form, and slips between materials. Light moves, and objects respond. An exploration of perception, the featured works investigate how light and shadow shape our understanding of color in three-dimensional form. 

Every Shadow is a Color is on view from May 14 - June 22.
