The latest iteration of The Residence marks the first collaborative project between Assembly Line and Los Angeles-based design studio Kalon, anchored by an expansive installation of their furniture. Favoring restraint, craft, and tactile richness, Kalon’s pieces foreground honest materials, warmth, and objects designed to age with time.

The three-story townhouse offers a grounded, quietly expressive vision of contemporary living and continues General Assembly’s ongoing partnership with Tankhouse and 144 Vanderbilt.

Alongside Kalon, The Residence will showcase work from independent designers and brands, including Juntos Projects, In Common With, Salam Hello, Bowen Liu, General Assembly, Rye, Steven Bukowski, Armadillo, Fern, Fort Standard, Hannah Bigeleison, Ravenhill Studio, Ressource, Sibast and Yuxuan Huang and a site-specific installation by Pat Kim.
