Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final. Eligible returns may be available for store credit only, minus a 20% restocking fee. Once your order is put into production, it cannot be changed or cancelled. 

All paint is considered made-to-order and has a strict no-return policy. 

We are unable to process exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item, please initiate a return on your original purchase and place a new order. Please note, a restocking fee will apply. 

Incorrect or Damaged Items 

If an item arrives damaged or the incorrect item is received, please email sales@assemblyline.co with your order number, including a photo, and details regarding the incorrect item or damaged piece. All orders must be inspected upon arrival, as we require notice of any issues or concerns within 48 hours of receiving. We will respond promptly with next steps. 

A refund will be issued to your original form of payment following receipt and quality check of returned items, and are typically available within 3-10 business days. 

Lost or Stolen Items

Assembly Line cannot accept responsibility for any packages lost or stolen. Please contact the courier directly. 

Restocking

While we understand that not all items work out, there is a considerable amount of time, cost, and labor that goes into each order. Some items are eligible to return for store credit only, minus a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and products must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging. Return requests must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving your order at sales@assemblyline.co

Customers are responsible for return shipping and refunds are contingent on items arriving in their original packaging and condition. We take great care to make sure your orders arrive properly packaged and the same is expected for all approved returns for restock. 

The following are final sale and not eligible for cancellation or return:

  • Lighting that has been installed

  • Rush orders

  • Custom, handmade, or modified pieces

  • Made-to-order items

  • Furniture

  • Artwork

  • Paint

  • Chandeliers or pendants

  • Sale items

  • Limited editions

  • Items over $2,500

Will it Fit

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items being ordered and delivered will fit through doorways, hallways, and elevators prior to purchase. Once the order is processed, Assembly Line will not cancel the order. Assembly Line is not responsible with regard to measuring or determining whether an item will fit in the space or not. This includes calculating square footage for all paint, as it is considered made-to-order and has a strict no-return policy.
