Working with nature, Bauwerk limewash paint is made with clay, minerals and beautiful natural pigments. Best of all, you'll be painting with a natural paint without any toxic fumes.

With the right preparation you can also decorate with limewash paint on walls that are already painted or are made of gyprock / drywall / plasterboard or plaster.

Sample Pot:
Bauwerk lime wash paint sample pots contain 250ml. That is enough to paint a large enough area to see the effect of the color. We recommend painting the sample onto a material section that resembles the surface of the wall to be painted, rather than painting it onto the actual wall. Especially with absorbent surfaces, it is not possible to remove the paint and there is a chance that the sample might still be discernible after the final coat of paint.

Color Cards:
Bauwerk Color Cards are hand painted and come in a large format card 10.5 cm x 15 cm to make it really easy to get a good feel for how your colors will really look on the wall. We recommend that you look your colors in the location you expect to paint, as colors appear different in different light conditions interior or exterior. Hold your color card vertically up against the wall as this can also effect how you see the color. We recommend that you always trial your color with a sample pot to be sure the color appears as you imagine it will on your wall.
