Stick Bug

Stick Bug started as an interesting lumberyard find, a piece of Red Oak with a gentle sigmoid curve, perhaps from a shaded tree twisting for more light. Pat Kim wanted to preserve this evidence of past life and imbue the bench with whimsy. With its six alternating legs, the bench is reminiscent of a walking stick or stick bug, an insect disguised as wood.
