Agate Plume Cotton Rug
The Agate Plume Cotton Rug's undulating color bands evoke the visually rich terrain of northern India, where natural rock formations and man-made quarries expose multi-hued layers of stone and sand. In this version, the effect is heightened by the earthy texture.
Agate is woven from discarded luxury silk sourced from all over India, then cleaned and re-spun. Tantuvi's silk rugs are ultra-soft, with a subtle luster and a greater visual depth thanks to the varied reclaimed fibers. Each rug is hand-woven in Rajasthan on panda looms and takes a single artisan between four weeks to two months to finish.
